"Genuine Genious. Simple Talents, Extraordinary Stories" is a short stop-motion animation about individual and collective geniality, which portrays the simple people of Bali and their amazing talents. With a witty use of fantasy, three local characters are depicted: the street vendor of sweets, the babi guling (roast pork) saleswoman and the rice field peasant.
"Genuine Genious. Simple Talents, Extraordinary Stories" was presented at "GEN i US" exhibition, held in the context of the Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design (ICAD) 2012, a festival of design, art and technology held annually in Jakarta to explore the richness of Indonesian wisdom from a contemporary perspective.
