"Rooftop Landscape" emerges in the fall of 2020, a year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic and mandatory confinement. It is a work that arises from resilience and the benefit of taking advantage of the given circumstances. Faced with the impossibility of going out to draw in the street, the piece was created on a vacant terrace inside the Villa Rosa Residence, Leticia's living and working space in Tigre. The use of a large size support, added to the technique of working with ink gave rise to a challenge of unpredictable results. The ink drips on the water and travels a capricious, spontaneous path. Furrows, splashes and brushstrokes are combined with the use of charcoal, resulting in this subjective work that alludes to the liberating power of art.
