"One is Never Enough" is a collaborative work with visual artist Yafit Taranto, and offers a bold interpretation of the distress that comes from heartbreak, showing the art of cooking as an alternative source of pleasure and sensuality. The work was performed on the stage of the Melkgweg, one of the most important cultural and artistic reference centres in Amsterdam. For five hours, trays of fruit, chocolates and drinks were illustrated while exquisite and lush images were projected on a screen. Meanwhile, the artists ate, drank and worked, rejoicing in the feast, which gradually disappeared as the night progressed. The performance resulted in a great party of techno music and an ecstasy of snacking, accompanied by a crowd that brought this event of dance, pleasure and seduction to life.
