The expansion project for the Tigre Delta Hostel had a series of restrictions from the beginning that made it a challenging assignment. The main one was the budget, which led to trying to preserve as much surface area as possible, building only 30 m2 of new space.
The project is divided into two parts: in the front, the hotel with rooms with private bathrooms, and in the back, a sector with two large rooms with sea beds and outdoor bathrooms. An old ficus crosses the access platform and sifts the entrance to these. The kitchen-dining room also overlooks the garden and is used to serve breakfast and to allow guests to prepare their own meals.
